Hola Elder Nielsen,
It was good to hear from you. Erin said she set up your group email already for you, so I don't know how you should access your group with everyone's email. It sounds like you are enjoying the mtc. Do you and Elder Gray play 1 vs 1 or with others?
We had a good, busy week. Last Saturday was the angel lake fishing derby. So mom and I and the 3 younger girls with Erin went up there. It was perfect weather. It was over cast so it was not too hot and then the wind started blowing about lunch time and everyone was cold. We caught 11 fish. Addie realed in 6 as we caught most of hers while Summer and Carly were at the stations. Addie won the smallest fish contest. Carly cuaght 2 tiger trout. That is the first time we have ever caught Tiger trout. They were cool looking. Carly caught a pretty nice one and I thought for sure it would have one, but some kid behind her had a bigger fish. It was fun. We got home around 2 pm as they were booking it to get all the prizes given away. Carly won a fishing pool without the real and she said she wanted the bubbles. That reminded me of Chelsea winning the bugleing contest and wanting the mittons over a putter elk buckle. I need to train these kids better about the value of the prizes.
Sunday was Bishop Bryce's last Sunday here, but we did not reorganize the bishophric as the name had not been approved yet. So me, Mason and Bishop all spoke. It was a great sacretmeeting. Bishop and mason did a really good job. Then we went to the singles branch to listen to Erin and Landon welch speak. Erin did a great job. We did not have any one over for dinner and Erin stayed at the linger longer at the singles branch. So it was a quiet Sunday.
I kind of hurt my hamstring and calf muscle on the other leg playing bball. It is kind of like mom's where it hurts where you muscle attaches to your pelvis bone. And I got kneed in the thigh and had dead leg, so I was not much use out there.
We heard this morning at basketball that Julie Klekas was life flighted to Reno and was non-responsive. They have ruled out a stroke, but that is all we have heard. I will update you next time. I hope she is ok, that would be a huge blow to that family without her.
Other than that, Erin went to Rexberg with Sister Esplin to figure out all her school plans and to try and get an interview with Mellalucca. So it is just mom and I and the 3 younger girls at home.

Well work hard, pray hard and study hard and the Lord will bless you. We love you and pray for you daily. Do you have 4 Tongan sisters in your district from Tonga or US?
Love
Dad
Dear Elder Nielsen,
As Dad mentioned, we went to the Angel Lake Fishing Derby last Saturday. And as usual Dad helped with the fishing and I went to the classes. (only with Addie, Summer and Carly were actually in the same age group this year and so they just went together.) It was fun. Erin took pictures and read. The Dumas Family was there --Karla, Kurt and Dawson. Karla said Sierra was up in Canada visiting Katie Kump, and Marshall doesn't do too many family things these days. He is working at Charles Chester Plumbling. Towards the end when they were giving out the prizes it started to get windy and cold, and of course our girls were the last ones to be awarded. Summer got fishing bag and Carly got (just what we needed) another fishing pole. Ads got a little pole that was "Cars" themed and she let me know that it was a "boy" fishing pole. We went home and had fish for dinner.
We had a "lively" discussion on Sunday night about what Erin was going to do this Fall with school and all. She applied and was accepted to the Evans Hairdressing school in Rexburg, and so now she has to figure out where she and Amber are going to live and how she will pay for rent. Ruthe Esplin was going up there on Mon. morning to help Kayla with her little boy while she studied for finals, so she just caught a ride up with her. Amber was going to take her over to the Melalucca place to see if she could get hired there. She has a job house sitting for a couple out in Pleasant Valley for two weeks the end of this month. A lady in my bookclub forwarded the info to me and I passed it on to Erin. She has to feed 4 horses, a dog, and a barn cat, and sleep there at night. She'll get $22 a night, not bad. She will catch a ride down to SLC to go to her just released Mission Pres. Homecoming talk. The we'll figure out how to get her home.

We don't do too much these days. I purposely don't schedule things, because this is the time I like to just relax and not be in the car driving everywhere like during the school year. The girls have cleared out a skate track in the basement. They all have on a pair of skates and go round and around the big stack of sheet rock. Its like a regular roller derby down there.
Well, have a great week, keep working hard.
We love you, Mom
P.S. We saw the picture of you and Elder Gray together on Instagram. Christian posted it and it said, "keeping the Lowry / Elko rivalry alive half way across the world". Too fun.
